The Challenge
KDMC worked with a local mobile technology company to help develop a new consumer service and brand for its texting service. The company had primarily serviced business-to-business (B2B) markets so it was unfamiliar with consumer marketing and branding.
Our Solution
KDMC created and developed a new brand for its texting service, PHOX. We worked closely with the executive team to identify target consumers, key buyer persona attributes and desirable branding attributes before creating and launching the PHOX brand. We also created a number of new “how-to” videos as well as other related content for the company.
The Result
Upon launch of the new service we also secured media coverage in local and national publications including Cosmopolitan, Yahoo!, MTV, College Candy, KIRO-AM radio (Seattle) and AOL. The visibility garnered helped the company with an eventual acquisition by a competitor.
