CourierGateway is a cloud-based logistics platform that that allows eCommerce companies to manage multiple couriers within a centralized account. As a startup in a competitive industry, CourierGateway needed to increase visibility on the search engine results pages as well as increase the sign-ups on their platform. The goal was to increase the number of eCommerce business sign-ups on the platform. Paid search campaigns were setup to test the volume, quality & competition of search traffic to see which strategies brought in high-quality leads, as the goal was to target businesses looking for a shipping solution & avoid wasting ad budget on one-off consumers looking to ship personal items.
The first two months, CourierGateway spent approximately 1.5K & this resulted in more than 400 clicks; 18 of which converted; the data from these two months gave use a baseline & was used to understand the market & identify strategies to test. The second two months CourierGateway increased budget to 2.5-3.5K per month. During these two months conversion optimization geared towards the sign-up process on the website was conducted; keyword and ad strategy testing were also conducted. In final two months the best performing keywords were identified & the keyword strategy shifted to push these keywords & pull back on lower performing keywords. The final month shows the budget decrease by half compared with the previous month while it also increased in conversions & sign-ups month over month. Therefore, we were able to identify and execute a sustainable, high converting strategy that drove sign ups at the lowest possible cost per conversion.
