Most people have a general understanding of social media marketing. We no longer have to explain Twitter’s 140 character limit or how to upload an image to a Pinterest board. However, for small businesses that already have a tight budget, it still takes some convincing to show that there is measurable value within social media marketing. Even if your business doesn’t have the budget to run a full fledge Facebook campaign or even promote a post – there are still plenty of ways to leverage your presence on social media.
The best advice (as recommend by us and this infographic)? Don’t spread yourself too thin. It’s tempting to jump on every free social media site out there, but you only want to contribute to the ones you can commit to. Social media is a lot like relationships. If he (or she) can’t commit whole heartedly – why bother?
