You can try to avoid it as long as you want…but eventually, like all things in social media, you will be forced to make the switch over to a new layout.
Twitter has taken it easy on us with layout changes – and well, Facebook, not so much. However, there are many ways you can take advantage of this layout and the general consensus seems to be in favor of the new profile page.
Bite the bullet and make the switch for you and your clients! Personally, I found it much easier from a design perspective since I don’t have all these non-transparent backgrounds to work around. It’s just like Facebook with a header photo and a profile photo. Dare I say it – this is one change I’m actually happy about.
