UK-based online marketing company Pure360 recently surveyed more than 600 people in businesses ranging from media and advertising to finance and health in order to gain a pulse on their email marketing strategies.
Not surprisingly, retail was the industry most likely to have an email marketing strategy, with 69 percent of respondents saying they currently had a strategy in place. So what was the least likely industry to have an email marketing strategy you ask? Medical and healthcare. Only 47 percent of respondents in the medical and healthcare industry said they currently had an email marketing strategy. The average of all respondents who currently had a strategy was 57 percent.
Does your company have an email marketing strategy? If not, you should seriously consider it, because email marketing is king.
