While it may seem obvious, many press releases don’t include the “Five W’s.” Make it easy for journalists. If they can’t clearly find the “who, what, when, where & why”, it’s doubtful they will go searching for it elsewhere online. Your press release may go straight to the trash bin – or even worse – they may choose your competitor’s information.
