People are using their mobile phones more than ever before, so mobile marketing is at the forefront of our minds. 86% of adults own a mobile phone and 53% of adult cellphone owners use it to access the Internet. There are a variety of apps that have been created specifically for shopping and during the months of November and December their usage goes into overdrive.
While people aren’t buying all their gifts on their cellphones during the holiday season, they may use it to determine what stores they’d like to visit. Or read reviews. Or find your store. If the ease isn’t there, your store could be passed up for another. So it’s more important than ever to have a website that’s optimized for mobile or an app that’s slick and easy to use.
