Bullhorn recently announced their annual North American Staffing and Recruiting Trends Report for 2012. The survey offers “insight into the opportunities and challenges that face the staffing industry.” Even during the economic downturn, respondents stated that the greatest challenge in 2012 was a lack of skilled candidates.
It’s no surprise that LinkedIn continues to be the #1 site for recruiters seeking top talent. So what’s the takeaway from this report? Even if you are not actively seeking a job, you need to be searchable online. In order to make the best possible impression online, think twice before you tweet (or post, for that matter.) 86% of potential employers will look at your social profile, so remember that your profiles can help you land (or lose) a job.
